A new drink on the luxury alcohol market has dropped and it’s causing celebrities and trendsetters to fork out the cash for an amazing new evening beverage. Veev is a 60-proof white spirit that along with acai also contains other antioxidant-containing fruits such as acerola cherry and prickly pear. The company also has a green slant. They donate $1 per bottle to green initiatives such as the Rainforest Action Network and Sambazon’s Sustainable Acai Project.
A 60 proof clear spirit, make no mistake, VeeV is not vodka. With a more dynamic taste, and a little less alcohol on the palette, VeeV is a more sophisticated complement to your evening. Yet it can still be enjoyed like any flavored or infused vodka: chilled neat, on the rocks or in mixed drinks and martinis. Açaí, the essence of VeeV, tastes like a blend of dark berries with a hint of chocolate. When combined with hints of Acerola Cherry and Prickly Pear, VeeV forms the perfect balance of berries, citrus and alcohol. The taste is refreshing and leaves behind the sting of Vodka or Gin that usually turns me off of drinking that stuff so hard. There is a moderatly high sugar content within the drink that will not help out much with that hangover, but at least you’re drinking a beverage that will do some good to your body as well. Because lets face it, most of us are going to drink booze anyway!
